Ski & Snowboard Iran
Skiing in Iran, a place where the powder is free.

Iran is an enchanted ski spot where there is little competition for the vast amounts of powder it reaps in its 3000-4000m slopes. Locals tend to flirt in restaurants, listening to house music rather than carve up the delicious powder that falls on their resorts. The reason – religious rules are somewhat relaxed and it’s a haven to forget these for a while and flirt with your potential life partner, chillax hang out and be cool.
A small amount of piste grooming takes place in which locals generally stick to, many of them being beginners to intermediate skiers which leaves a whole stack of unchallenged powder either side and every which way for us powder hounds to shred up all day long.
We centre ourselves around Iran’s 2 best ski resorts– Dizin and Shemshak which are renowned as the steepest resorts with the longest runs and best hotels & infrastructure amongst Iran’s 16 ski resorts. From this well-situated base we offer backcountry ski touring up Iran’s highest mountain and volcano – Damavand at 5671 meters.
A superb way to top off your adventure trip by skiing Iran’s highest mountain!
We tailor flexible packages starting from one week with introductory (2 days) guiding of this fabulous area to full guiding depending on your requirements and length of stay.
